Welcome to GAC, Ariyalur, General Library. The Library has a collection of over 51,000 volumes and subscribe to UGC- N-LIST Journals. Apart from General Library, each department has separate Library in their respective departments. All students, faculty members and employees of the GAC, Ariyalur are entitled to make use of the Library facilities on taking membership.
A. Reference books are normally not issued, but you can refer and take notes in the Library.
Q. What types of documents are kept in the Reference Collection?
A. References collection mainly contains, encyclopedias, handbooks, dictionaries, directories, atlases, and some rare collections
Q. I have lost a book, what am I required to do?
A. Immediately declare the books as lost to the Librarian. The latest procurement cost will be intimated to you, to need to pay for triple the cost of the book or you can replace with new one.
Q. If I do not get the book on shelve what can I do?
A. Contact Library Assistant . You may also Librarian or any staff member in the Library.
Q. Can I bring my own book in the Library?
A. Sorry, you are not allowed to bring the personal books in the Library.
